Warped Tour

Warped Tour, Week 1

Hi everyone!  Well I’m almost through my first week on Warped Tour.  It’s really been an eye opening experience for me.  It’s definitely a rough tour, and everyone is working their butts off from morning to evening.  I started the tour in Houston, and it was a wet, muddy mess!  It had been storming all day and didn’t stop until late evening.  There were more storms the next day in Dallas, but it’s been pretty clear since then.  Obviously its summer, so mostly every city is boiling hot! I have sunburns everywhere, but I’m happy because it will mostly turn into a tan.  I’m known for being really pale, so it’s a nice break from that.  We had a day off on the fourth in Missouri, then the next day I was able to play on the Ernie Ball stage in St. Louis! The crowd was huge!  A picture is posted below.  It’s just me and my acoustic guitar, so it’s hard to compete with the bands.  But when a new fan buys an album, that’s what makes my day so special.  I’m meeting so many new and amazing people.  I’m on the tour bus now which I’m sharing with Automatic Loveletter. They are the coolest band and we’re having a blast! We found a disco ball buried in a cabinet and had a dance party on the bus, blasting Daft Punk and Miley Cyrus.  This is my first bus tour as well, so it’s a trip!  Tomorrow we go to Canada…I can’t wait!  I’ll be sure to post a video blog here soon.
